Exterior retail sign painting involves several meticulous steps to ensure a vibrant, long-lasting finish. Three services, One contractor. This 150,000 sf Industrialbuilding was experiencing panel separation. OSCS working with a structural Engineering firm, came up with a repair method using structural steel reinforcement on the interior of the building to stabilize or slow down the settling/shifting that was effecting the vertical panels. Full recaulk of vertical expansion joints was performed and OSCS painted the building.

One Source has been performing a variety of different concrete repairs including strengthening and waterproofing for years. So why not repair the buildings before they're painted?
Typical repair, usually not this size, but will commonly have expansive rebar located torwards the bottom of expansion joint where downspouts are located. Before painting, this repair was identified during the job walk with the client. Loose concrete was removed, exposed rebar was treated with rust inihibitor, crystalline based cementitiouse repair material including aggregate were used. The crystals grow and fill the capillaries surrounding the rebar restricting oxygen contact and slowing down the expansiveness (rusting) of the rebar.
